departure of Buttslap girl

Win and i can no longer enjoy the antics of Buttslap girl, due to an unforseen turn of events.

Buttslap girl, a term of endearment we had bestowed upon our upstairs neighbor, is who we remember fondly as the japanese girl who married Upstairs Tenant Guy. she moved into his american apartment promptly after their ceremonies in japan, early summer of 2001.

she earned her nickname by the noise that her zori made as she hurriedly ran up and down the steps constantly.

we were originally disturbed by the intermittent buttslapping sounds riddling our conversations, but as with any los angeles cacaphony, we grew to accept it, and to even welcome it:

"...ah yes...there goes Buttslap girl..."

"...oh wait...here she comes again...i wonder where she's going??..."

alas, we will no longer hear those familiar sounds, as well as the delightful stompings of Buttslap girl and her hubby, playing ddr at strange hours in the night.

they were evicted for reasons that are still unclear to us. but then again, we'll probably find out soon enough when our gossip-loving landlord comes by to make his rounds.

i hope they find a nice place to live... good bye Buttslap girl and her husband...
