i woke up this morning at 5am.

to an alarm clock belonging to someone else.

who lives in an apartment.

in the building adjacent to mine.

so everyone seems to be sleeping with their windows open lately. that's fine. being shaken awake by garbage trucks rolling down the alley is to be expected. but being startled awake by c+c music factory shrieking, "everybody dance now !" is just uncalled for...
