i think i'm done for the night.

playing my ps2 that is.

i'm not sure though. i'm sitting here, and wondering, but... no. i think i'm on the verge of a headache (i just haven't been feeling all that great today).

this ps2 thing is great ! i say this, because this is the first gaming system (console) i have ever owned in my life. sure, i've gone to friends' homes to play with their super nintendos, segas, and playstations, but owning one of these is a completely different story. to say the least, these gaming systems have come a helluva long way since i used to play super mario brothers on my friend's nintendo. [nostalgic sigh]

many thanks to my boyfriend, for the plethora of games that i can now play on our new tv. the first weekend after we purchased our ps2, we ran to the video store to borrow a game. this was "resident evil code: veronica x". i ended up solving the game within the weekend. insane. i obviously had help from the gameshark codes and parts of walkthroughs, but it was thrilling. i enjoyed it thoroughly !

right now, the top three that i'm working on are: devil may cry, silent hill 2, and tokyo extreme racer: zero. when my back is not bothering me, i practice my ddr. man, do i feel left behind. i want to be good enough to play at the arcade, but i don't know when that'll happen.

devil may cry - this game is beautiful, so gothic. i am constantly in awe at the detailed imagery. the movements are so clean and smooth, and i'm pleased that it's a little bit more fast-paced than resident evil.

silent hill 2 - i cannot play this game by myself. no matter how hard i try to convince myself that it's only a game only a game only a game, i can't help but freak out. it's sOOoo creepy !! but i like it ! call me a masochist...

tokyo extreme racer: zero - so i'm a closet rice girl. it's just fun to sup up your imaginary car, and race them against other teams cruising around actual streets of tokyo.

well...i'm off to look for some tips on forums... great. i'm a gamer-nerd. [shrug]
