another useless recap of the past week, brought to you by yours truly:

1. Win delighted (at least we hope) our dearest meat-fancying friends with his signature marinaded rib eye steaks over labor day weekend. this was all made possible by our brand new turtle.

2. as of september 1st, i am working "normal" work weeks. this means enjoying my friday evenings with friends without suffering the repercussions at work on saturdays.

3. to kick off this weekend, i'm going karaoke-ing with the girls tonight, and on friday, hopefully i'll be able to hitch a ride with one of my lovely friends to chinatown for an evening of drinking and dancing.

4. Win and i rented, the believer. i realized that billy zane looks best sans hair.

5. i discovered that i'm a muffin-top-eater.

6. i awoke at three this morning from a spider nightmare: there were four giant black spiders (as large as tarantulas), hiding in the corner of my bedroom. my dreaming self, ran to fetch the can of raid, and proceeded to spray, but they wouldn't die. when i finally awoke traumatized, i groggily resorted to my childhood defense system: hiding myself under the covers until i fell asleep again.

7. compared to the spider nightmare, i think i'd prefer having the dream i had the other night where i ran errands and did chores for satan. he was rather cordial.
