i heard once in passing, from a middle-aged woman standing at the cash register of a coffee shop, "you know, birthdays seem to come up a lot faster when you're in your thirties." i shrugged it off, since i have always been told that i look younger than i actually am. besides, she was telling this to some stranger who looked as though he could care less.

my preoccupation with my age, is most likely due to my family, both distant and close, telling me that i am practically thirty. i'm not there yet, but as natives of an asian culture, they are obligated to worry for me. they worry that i'm not yet married, and that i will have children "too late".

i have been in a most rewarding two year relationship with a most wonderful boyfriend, and yet, they still seem to be in denial. they pressure me and tell me that i'm not getting any younger.

what am i supposed to do? noogie him until he says, "i do"?

anyway, i'd decided that i'm still very much a kid, and i want to celebrate my "old age" accordingly.

so, yesterday, i grabbed a couple of friends, along with my boyfriend, and dragged them to disneyland. i had the best time of my life. i don't think i'll ever get tired of disneyland. especially since, around this time of year, it's already decked out in christmas decor.

but that's not the end. i'll be celebrating with an even larger group of friends at a local club, later this week. i can't wait. i haven't gone clubbing since...halloween.

anyway, i'm a year older now, and it's actually a good thing, because i'd been telling people mistakenly, that i'm a year older than i'd actually was. i dunno...after a certain age, everything seems to become a big blur.

p.s.- Boss updates: i discovered, that cfo (Boss' own relative), gave notice of resignation soon after i left. she stated, "i couldn't take it any more after you left". odie was also let go, due to complicated reasons, which i need to elaborate later.

my curse is working... muahahahaha
