[these entries may not sound very coherent, since i'm writing them as i work]

at 7:55 am, he entered the office somber, without any good mornings to reward us. instead, he averted his eyes and headed to the counter to sign in. i interjected his chosen silence with a good morning myself.

my instinct told me, today is going to be rough. i can feel it.

this man, my boss, is the kind of person who establishes procedures and parameters to better lead his life. however, he fails to recognize that this company that he owns, is his life. we, the employees, can see this all too clearly; he enjoys treating us all as though we're his children.

example. when we arrive just before or at 8:00 am, we please him greatly. he greets us with an enthusiastic, good morning ! a just reward.

if we arrive just past 8:00 am however, he makes it known that we have disrespected his precious procedure, and consequently we are to be penalized for it. No good morning for you ! I will treat you like crap ! you deserve it ! thats what his demeanor will exude.

these small things will make it or break it.

it's past 12.... i need to go to lunch!
